Educational Qualification

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

  • Must possess a valid degree certificate at the time of registration.

  • Basic computer knowledge is mandatory:

    • Certificate/Diploma in Computer Operations, or

    • Studied Computer/IT as a subject in school/college.

Age Criteria:

  • Minimum Age: 20 years (as on 01 August 2025)

  • Maximum Age: 28 years (as on 01 August 2025)

  • Candidates must be born between 02.08.1997 and 01.08.2005 (inclusive).

Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 years

  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

  • PwBD: 10 years

  • Ex-Servicemen: As per government Rules

 Selection Process: 

There are two main stages in The IBPS Clerk recruitment process

1. Preliminary Examination

  • Objective-type test

  • Duration: 60 minutes

  • Sections:

    • English Language (30 questions, 30 marks)

    • Numerical Ability (35 questions, 35 marks)

    • Reasoning Ability (35 questions, 35 marks)

  • Total: 100 questions, 100 marks

  • Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer

2. Mains Examination

  • Duration: 160 minutes

  • Sections:

    • General/Financial Awareness (50 marks)

    • General English (40 marks)

    • Reasoning & Computer Aptitude (60 marks)

    • Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks)

  • Total: 190 questions, 200 marks

Language Proficiency Test

  • This test is Conducted after mains exam
